Hi!

Looking through my document archive, I found a several Microsoft Word 6.0
documents. Two of these in particular used some not-so-common features, that
the importer in LibreOffice has problems with. (The documents can be opened,
but there are obvious rendering bugs.)

Are these documents of interest to the Document Liberation Project?

Not really, as we do not have any library that imports MS Word
documents. But thanks anyway.

I don’t have access to the original Word 6.0 anymore, so I can’t tell
*exactly* how the documents should be rendered, but I think I can describe
the rendering problems. I have also tested the files with AbiWord, MS Word
2010 and MS Word 97. Interestingly, all of them have problems correctly
rendering the documents, but they all have *different* problems.

So, the best thing you can do is to open a separate bug at
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=LibreOffice
for each rendering problem, attach the document and describe what is
rendered incorrectly.
