Hi,

Hi everyone,

From looking at the devel list, it looks like there hasn't been a new
version of a DLP library for a while:

I'm pretty sure there's been at least one new release this year. Maybe I
forgot to announce it?

However, looking at Gerrit shows some work going on in a few projects, like:

https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/gitweb?p=libetonyek.git;a=summary

I planned to do do new releases of several libs for 5.4. Unfortunately
rev-enging of QuarkXPress 4 format for GSoC took too much of my time...
So this moves forward to 6.0.

For the LibreOffice 5.4 release, due at the end of this month, we'd like
to highlight DLP and maybe include a call to action. Is there anything
specific we can point out in this release that DLP has helped with?

I'm afraid there's not.

Otherwise we can add something more generic to the announcement like we
did for LO 5.2:

"LibreOffice 5.4 is built with document conversion libraries supporting
proprietary document formats from the Document Liberation Project:
http://www.documentliberation.org. Help to improve compatibility by
preparing sample documents and contributing code:
http://www.documentliberation.org/contribute/";

Looks good to me.

D.
